There is talk in her family of fey ancestry, and if so, that blood has come to the fore in Kara. She is unusually petite, just shy of 5' and less than 100 pounds in weight, and as an apprentice, magic came to her with an ease many archmages huddling over half-deciphered pages could only envy.

Of course, talent must take a backseat to education and experience, so she has a long long way to go to reach those rarified heights. But that is what brought her to Stonehell- its mysteries and challenges would be a demanding teacher, where she would either flourish or perish.
