Although Argent hasn’t lived in town year-round in over two decades, his identity is well known there as one of the Magistrati: clergy dedicated to the worship of the Lord of Spells, Azuth. When in full regalia, he wears a suit of brilliant silvery chainmail and a shimmering gray tabard with the High One’s symbol emblazoned on the chest, a left hand channeling fire, pointing to the sky. When he first departed his parents homestead it was to become a professional soldier, but injuries on the battlefield led him to focus on his scholarly abilities instead. That led to a career in the libraries of an Azuthian temple. He is currently on sabbatical as his aging parents need assistance maintaining their gardens and repairing their home.
