Short Bio: Born in Decatur Georgia, Anna was always a bit of an outsider. Not being a girly girl but instead focussing on fitness and sports, by the time she was in high school, she could outrun and outright most boys in her school.

when she was a sophomore she met Wendy Matthews, a junior at the same high school. They instantly fell in love and were inseparable, despite the taunting and bullying they endured. When Wendy went of to college in Atlanta they promised they'd make it work, and Anna was going to follow after. But over winter break Wendy ended the relationship, confessing she'd fallen in love and had been in a relationship with a guy named Freddy.

Heartbroken Anna threw herself into her training. Around springtime, her track coach told her about an old colleague who was head coach of a women's rugby team in Haven and suggested it might be a good fit for Anna. Anna went to try out over spring break and found it to be exactly what she was looking for.
