A fair-faced young man, Milo is of medium height with long brown curls and penetrating green eyes.  He generally tips the front of his tawny, felted wide-brim to at least partially obscure one eye.  His ears fade beneath his hair before showing their pointed tips.  He sports a nasty-looking scar across his neck, only partially hidden by the faded bandanna tied there.  Though he can be quite expressive, his ability to speak without aid is restricted to clicking and rasping breaths.

Milo's clothing is of high quality, though it collects a fair amount of travel dust.  Beneath a plain-colored duster, in the rare occasions that it said duster is unbuttoned, Milo sports a bright green silk vest over a cream-colored button down shirt.  His riding gloves, belt and boots are of the same dark brown lizard-skin leather.

In lieu of his lost speech, Milo generally balls a band into a fist, and moves the thumb to simulate a mouth moving.  Somehow, it produces speech.
