Description
- Sani is unusual for a halfling in more ways than one. For the obvious, her height is truly unusual amongst her kind, though still well short of that of a human adult or elf. Her limbs and longer and lankier than the usual halfling, though she seems to move with relative grace all the same. Rarely seen though her wavy, wild, honey-golden hair, her ears taper to very slight points, and while there have been occasional rumors that she might be half-elven, her family would deny it, and she would simply ignore the debate. Her features are soft and decidedly attractive, though usually marked with a thoughtful or disinterested quality. Her face and arms are decorated in subtle druidic tattoos, reminiscent of lightning. A small, clean burn scar is visible near her hairline above her left temple, about the size of her thumb.
Her typical attire is a comfortably padded set of leather attire, a top drawn taut about her torso with lacing and bottoms worn taut to her rear, leaving her tattooed arms and lower legs free to the air. She travels mostly barefoot, though another discrepancy from other halflings is immediately apparent - her feet lack both the thick foot-hair and the harsh callouses common to her kind. In fact, she often wears a pair of leather footwraps, though they typically leave her toes bared. Aside from her typical adventuring pack with the expected amenities, it also has a metal shield fastened to it for difficult situations. She keeps several belt pouches at her waist with a component pouch, and wears a snug bandolier across her torso. A pair of daggers is secured on her person, one at her belt, the other secured in the bandolier, along with a collapsed hand crossbow, a collection of bolts, and a potion. There's also a reflective stone with a metal 'wand' the size of a quillpen, some unusual trinket.
She has a subtle accent to her speech, a melodic rise and fall to her pitch that gives her a subtly singsongy quality to her words. A subtle stretch and stress to the vowels, a natural tendancy to just barely roll the 'r' sound, though it can become more pronounced when she is agitated - which isn't exactly uncommon.
