It is easy to spot Jafad in a crowd, his outsider heritage obvious and almost on display. His skin while at first seemingly brown is actually a dark brass color. His eyes are almost like pools of fire, a mixture of yellow and orange that dimly glows. The rest of his appearance would probably be eccentric on a normal person. His head is completely shaven, with no trace of hair anywhere on his skull. His entire left arm, left side of his chest, and parts of his face are completely covered in tattoos. The art seems to be a complex diagram of colors that casters might realize almost seem to be ritualistic patterns. Even the layman will note that the ink occasionally pulses with a red light, almost to show that fire pumps through the Ifrit. These are almost always visible as Jafad wears little to cover himself. He wears a loose vest in a maroon color. He wears a large sash around his waist, more for display than to keep his trousers up.

However the oddest part about Jafad is the snake that is usually resting on his shoulders. Referred to by Jafad as "Lady Vash", the serpent is red in color with black and white stripes down it's body. The creature seems relaxed as it watches events unfold from it's perch on Jafad.
