Jupt Haf

Jupt, or Joot as it is pronounced, is one with the water, as is all Undine. Standing at 5'9 and a lean, muscular 175lbs. He has been on the planet for all of his 76 years, which still puts him a young adult in Undine terms. His skin is blue like the ocean at its clearest, and his hair is as blue is the deepest of the oceans depths and match his eyes which look around at wonder of the natural world. He was raised as a druid, taught by his people and following in his parents' footsteps. He wears his hair long and pulled back and tied in dreads. He only wears loose fitting pants and his leather armor. Any more clothing would make him feel apart from the world.

He has learned to love the water beyond what the typical Undine already do. He has had many animal friends over his years, his most recent is a funny little octopus named Beagle. She makes him laugh and he loves her so much. He never wishes to put her in the way of too much risk. She loves to hide from him and then surprise him. She makes him jump every time.
About 10 years ago he felt he needed to leave his village to explore the greater ocean and experience the life force it holds. He became a sailor so he could cover more distance than that of just swimming everywhere. He has held almost every position on a ship, at one time or another. A storm once drowned half the crew and Jupt found himself as the first mate, rigger, helmsman, and master of arms. The experience was not lost on him, and he fell in love with navigating the vessel and steering it through danger. From then on, he always tried to be the helmsman. The crew always marveled at how Jupt always forecasted the weather accurately, always knew which direction they were heading no matter the cloud cover, and it was strange that when he was at the helm, the winds always seemed to favor them.
Jupt's lightheartedness also made him a crew favorite. No doubt, Jupt was a bit evil, he had no qualms in breaking laws of man, only nature held the true laws, but even the people he maybe stealing from would say "at least it was from such a nice young man." No need to be mean with words, the ocean does not need to say anything to take everything from you, after all.
Most recently, Jupt has been off the ship, as the last one he was on almost fell to mutiny after a long night of the sailors playing Heave. The captain, a human named Viral Quick, failed to lead well, and he should have stopped the game earlier, but Jupt still thought the sailors were a bit hard on him. Capt Quick made for port in hopes that the sailors would spend their wages on whores and drink and forget the whole ordeal. Unfortunately, Capt Quick returned from a house of pleasure to where his ship, The Kraken, was supposed to be to only see an empty dock. Jupt offered his condolences to Capt Quick, but the captain just turned Jupt away and wished Jupt well since Capt Quick believed Jupt had nothing to do with the stealing of The Kraken. The captain did not know that Jupt did have a small part to play in the stealing of The Kraken; for a little pay, Jupt convinced the dock guard to leave his post for about an hour to have a few of pints of lager. Jupt was okay with them stealing the ship, better than a mutiny, but just because he was okay with stealing it did not make him want to sail on The Kraken any longer with the mutinous crew which was now led by, an evil Lizardfolk bastard, the former first-mate, Mister Dobilo (if he had a first name, Jupt never hear it). To avoid any dangers near the dock, Jupt and Beagle followed a small river, that led him into the jungle with the idea to spend the night, but of course things happen and that is where his newest adventure begins.
