Po is an elderly Celestial man of unknown years. However, he is still quite spry for one so old. He has been in the employ of Mei for some years now. He appears most obedient and loyal to a fault. As she is lame, Po usually runs errands, performs chores, and pushes her around in the wheeled-chair made by a German carpenter in Wyoming.

Over the time spent, Po has learned much about the herbs Mei uses. Though he is unarmed and seemingly frail, he has survived many times, even when placed in dangerous situations. One thing for sure, Mei would be lost without him.
