Natalia Osgood, Contessa of Begma.

Natalia is the steel spirit of Begma.  As such, she is seen as the the grounded center of the country.  She is loved and highly regarded by it's citizens.  So much so, that they didn't even mind that she married an Amberite.  (Although, to be fair, Zale is a likable fellow.  They are warming up to him.  And, even though he has a Begman rank, he tends to only issue dictates when operating in her name.)  Natalia is an excellent statesman and champion of her people (although she will send Zale if a more 'physical' champion is needed).

She is fierce and independent.  She is also creative, intelligent, and open minded.  Natalia also has wicked (sometimes naughty) sense of humor.

Outside her love of statecraft, she enjoys parlor games of all sorts.  Especially Uno which, while emigrated from Earth, is now the most popular card game in Begma.  It is not seen as a childrens' game (although kids play it) The cards are exquisitely rendered and there is even a gambling and an 'adult' variation.

She <tr>loathes</tr> the smell of garlic breath even though she enjoys the flavor.
