Eugene Mort, know by most as Morty, is an old prospector who's traveled west searching for silver, gold, or any other valuables the Earth can produce. He's slowly made his way west from St Louis slowly staking out claims and digging for valuables, with mixed results. Morty spends a lot of time living off the land, hunting and foraging away from people so as to keep them away from his claim. He mostly keeps to himself, and he likes it that way. If anyone does show up where Morty's camped, usually a flash of the revolver will keep them moving on. With more and more people coming to the Colorado area around Denver, Morty's decided it's probably time to head further west in search of untouched land; and more riches.
