Trenker is a no-nonsense navy officer who expects things to be done efficiently. Those who know her better can tell you that she is also a collector of musical instruments.

Childhood:
It was the job of Lily's parents that determined her birth and childhood: She was born in transit between two star systems and spend her young years riding ftinnigans, sailing the purple seas, trecking through jungles and admiring alien temple art. Quick, and quick-witted, she soaked it all up like a sponge.

6 terms ago: Infected by her parents wanderlust, she successfully studied astrogation and astronomy at university. Young and naive, she was seduced by her astronomy tutor (Olaf Svanson), and their short relation ended bitterly (rival).

5 terms ago: Despite her intellectual success, the navy turned her down because she failed the physical test, so she let herself be drafted and ended up in law inforcement. After attending police academy (basic training), she made corporal and worked as a regular beat cop in a bad neighborhood (unarmed melee, streetwise). Her unlikely application for the police force's pilot training was  accepted and so she was learning how to fly spaceships after all, after undergoing an experimental neural rewiring to make her a better pilot. At the hospital, she meets Rhitcor.

4 terms ago: Now suddenly, the navy was interested in that pilot, and they wouldn't regret it. After an asteroid crash with gravity gone, Lily took the helm and steered the frigate she was posted on to safety (Athletics, Leadership), which got her the Rift Star in Silver and a quick promotion to sublieutenant.

3 terms ago: Her next gunner assignment saw her participating in a major fleet battle, in which she used her computer skills to assist the turret gunners. She was promoted again to Lieutenant, and given the Star of Bravery (soc+1).

2 terms ago: Although still officially a gunner, she was allowed to spend some time flying a small patrol cruiser (pilot, mechanic) on a successful diplomatic mission (recon). Her promotion to Commander entailed a series of naval tactics simulations.

last term: Another diplomatic misison with the navy took her to hostile environents and she spent much time in vacc suits. She finally makes captain and retires, as she feels her strength decrease.
