At first, Naela appears human enough, although a very beautiful one, with mahogany skin and long black hair braided down the length of her back. But a few features hint at a less mundane background: Golden eyes that seem to glow in certain light, and an equally golden hue to her skin. Henna tattoos of white and silver usually mark her face and arms, the pattern changing daily with the waxing and waning of the moon.

She wears hide armor of a northern beast, pale-colored leather lined with white fur, a long fur cloak warding off the cold. A thin quaterstaff hangs from her hip, a small shield of white oak at her arm.
