Mother Larissa is over 70 years old. She is the last surviving pupil of the Bone Gnawers who originally governed the caern . She’s a survivor, but she’s willing to do whatever it takes to maintain the caern. Ensuring the survival of the park is more than her job – it’s her destiny. All Garou defer to her leadership, and many humans enjoy her bizarre stories. She may threaten a lot, but she’s not violent. Many of the people in Central Park overlook Mother Larissa the first time they visit. She’s a small, skinny bag lady who patrols the park while pushing a battered shopping cart. Her routine includes picking up empty food containers from trash cans (she later brings the containers to the Ever Meal near the Great Lawn). In Homid form, she usually wears ill-fitting polyester clothing, orthopedic shoes and tacky accessories. In Lupus form, she is a small, sleek wolf with a mangy coat of brown fur. In any form she appears old, worn-out and crotchety, but she practically glows with youth when given the chance to take care of someone.
