Rastellarc dresses simply, in neutral-colored clothing common to the wood elves of Moonshae Isles. His leather boots show clear signs of a great deal of travel, and his leather vest has been repaired several times. He has a scimitar and shield that are well cared for, though he more often uses the scimitar as a tool than he does a weapon. He is well tanned from his travels, but the parts of his body that are exposed to sunlight less often reveal that his natural coloring is rather pale; from spring to fall this is strictly his lower body, in winter it is a more typical farmer's tan. Hanging from a silver chain around his neck is an amulet of a turquoise dolphin (see above).

Rastellarc is covered in tattoos of constellations and individual stars. The tattoos started on his chest and back, then spread to his arms, stomach and neck, and most recently to the edges of his face. The ink used in these tattoos is reflective to moonlight, causing them to sparkle after nightfall. On a clear night with a full moon, they sometimes outshine the actual stars themselves.
