At nearly 6 ft in height, Rhys is very tall for an elf.  His muscular and robust frame, further set him apart from what is typical of the fey Qualinesti.  He is clad in mail and leathers, that are of simple design, but of excellent quality.  A large, well worn, green cloak shrouds his quiver, and dirk while a shield and spear are slung across his back; a bow of fine Elven make in his hand.

A closer look at Rhys brings his features into focus.  The elf maintains the elegant, fine lines and attractiveness, known of Elvenkind.  However, there is not a trace of the legendary haughtiness.  A long, thick tangle of golden locks frame a face that seems kind and even amiable.  He almost always seems to have some hint of a smile on his face.  It's only when you gaze into the deep Emerald pools of his eyes, that you see an occasional hard glimmer.  Fleeting those moments may be, but they suggest that there is far more to this elf than his initial graciousness.
