Tara

Tara's family resemblance manifests in being pretty much a dead ringer for a teenage Deirdre:  tall, slender, smooth pale skin and fine fair features, ice-blue eyes and ruler-straight glossy ink-black hair, built like a whip, all sleek dancer's physique and long coltish limbs and subtle elegant curves.  Atypically for a girl of sixteen, she seems to hold herself at a bit of a detached reserve, though when she does speak (or in the moments when she can be caught singing) her voice is a crystal-clear soubrette soprano, high and sweet and soft, made to be accompanied by conservatory harp or coffee-house guitar.  Though somewhat delicate in appearance, she's hardly fragile in demeanor: in casual conversation she tends to stray towards what her uncles might consider to be an unladylike bluntness, and whenever it would be less than direly scandalous she prefers to dress about as tomboyishly as the etiquette of court will allow for, most often in soft leather mid-calf boots and clingy leggings and a blousy top beneath a black leather jacket or a black cloak pinned with a silver harp, outfits that gesture in the direction of being the attire of a fencer, or perhaps a sailor.  When she can get away with it, she even is known to carry a sword on her right hip (and when she's not at Court, she always considers that she can get away with it).  Whatever she's wearing, though, it's always, always in her everpresent black and silver, giving her a bit of an artfully brooding presentation, her icy eyes usually the only flash of actual color about her.

(She says her name with what is apparently the Dubliner pronunciation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xHD3AGJ7SI )
