Sirena is a small woman of Greek ancestry. While physically attractive, her voice is exceptional. She wears robes and a cloak of green with a brown pattern. She carries a rosery that she keeps wrapped around her left wrist.

Born and raised in Thermakopolis, she was the child of one of the maids and a shield grog. Her gift for languages was noticed when she was still young and she was given an education allowing her to have a chance to serve the covenant as a linguist. That ended when Constantinople was sacked in 1204 and Thermakopolis fell. Her parents were killed and she barely escaped. She found the wounded Javan and bandaged his injury as best she could.

She has spent over half of her life with Javan. She helped him create his sign language and they continue to develop it. During their travels, she sometimes serves as a language teacher.
