Weiland's bare head while as young looking as he was might have been indicative of a Spitalian but he neither wore the body glove nor had anything else upon him that spoke to that cult and he still had a blond goatee below his pale blue eyes and no visible rebreather.  Similarly the long coat that he wore bore vague resemblance to the leather coats of the Judges but his was patched up extensively and it had a hood along with other extra flaps.  It was the hodge-podge mixing of things and the well travel worn clothing that made him stick out as one of the Scrappers rather than a Chronicler.  Out in the wild the carry rig and Marvel rifle made it blatantly obvious what sort of individual he was.
