Khay Vass is a human male in his early twenties. He is about 172 cm tall, lean and muscular. He usually wears loose robes wrapped tight around his legs, with slippers inside his boots.

Vass was adopted by the temple as a small child and raised there. He became a very intense young man who lived to compete in athletics and especially martial arts. His academic studies were indifferent. He preferred free-running through the city, and was occasionally returned to the temple by guards when he trespassed across private grounds.

As he grew up, he began participating in fist-fighting bouts with other monks from around the city. This was not permitted, but he continued even after being warned. After he picked a fight with a mercenary, he was disbarred from the temple.
