The Constables
The Constables is set in the same universe as my other game, Southlands, but I don't expect any overlap.This game follows the adventures of one of the newly established Constabulary of Pomera, headquartered in the sprawling city of Greater Auxene, the political and economic heart of Pomera and much of the Southlands. The Constables are under funded, under staffed, under equipped, and sadly lacking in political connections. The city is a dense tangle of political connections and those political connections are half the problem. Okay, two thirds. To further complicate things, the idea of having a professional public law enforcement agency is new, and a lot of people don't trust it.
The characters are committed to the job for one reason or another, and in the face of a complex, often confusing and contradictory environment, told to "take care of it."
Will they?
The game will be rated Mature, because the Constables must deal with the corrupt, immoral, seedy side of civilization, where bad things happen.
