The being who goes by the pseudonym George Wolfe, known on the streets as Wolf George, prowls his territory ever on the alert.  Several blocks of slums and poverty, and he is the only bastion against those that go bump in the night.  One would look right past him if they didn't have the Sight, just another grungy looking man walking these dark alleys.  By day he offers services as a prowler of sorts, perhaps a PI.  But at night, that's when he becomes the hunter.  He can find anyone or anything, but each new scent brings him closer to losing control.  After all, the wolf inside him is awake, and it is hungry.



Appearance
George Wolfe appears to be in his late thirties/early fourties, but it can be hard to tell with the layers of grime and sun damage.  Some slavic features peek through the scars and creases, but he mostly comes across as an enigma.  Rarely does he smile, and when he does his yellowed teeth are almost predatory with somewhat enlarged canines.  His hair and beard are long and messy, and the ears that peak through are more pointed than is normal.  He dresses in warm clothes, often an old coat and ratty scarf, but he always seems to have on a t-shirt showing a wolf howling at the moon.  Whether this is intentional or not, nobody knows.  Nobody cares.

Wolf George, however, is a beast.  Half man, half wolf, a creation of destruction.  Compared to other Wolves, he is smaller and slimmer, almost like a lycanthropic coywolf.  Pray you do not see him in this state, as it is likely he will also see you.

Who are you?
Nobody knows the true name of one George Wolfe, not even the beast himself.  He took on the name from a story from his childhood, a Slavic aspect of St. George who would do the dark deeds that must be done.  George is the protector of the slums, the culler of the diseased, and the ...

How long have you been in the city?
George has lived in Bay City most of his life, but the time before the Wolf is a distant, hazy memory.  He has been in town for at least several decades, but nobody can be certain.

What is the best part of the change?
Since the change, George has been able to experience a whole new world, centered around his sense of smell.  With scent being linked to memory and taste, he has been able to make strong, recent memories.  And on top of that, he never has to feel weak (while in the form of the wolf).

Who is the most important person in your territory?
There is a man, Father Kavrilov.  A downtrodden, fallen priest.  Alcohol has taken the place of his god, alleys his church.  While a broken man, he sees all, knows all.  He is the advisor to George, when he isn't doomsaying.

What do you desperately need?
A bath.
