A village on the edge of the former Fire Nation Colonies, Jianzhen is a quiet fishing village and farming community. Its founder - the monk whose named after the village - held off a company of Fire Nation soldiers near the end of the 100 year war with what the few peasants & Earthbenders that fought alongside him describe as a sword falling from the sky which Jianzhen took up, emboldening the defenders and giving pause to the attackers who were routed & defeated.
