With his shrewd disposition and gruff demeanor, Guntar is not the sort that cares if people like him or not. His discerning gaze gives the impression that he's constantly evaluating the worth of anyone and everything around him. Critically. Whatever his assessments, he keeps his council to himself unless provoked. When pushed he will gladly put things to rights, if a little inelegantly.

Short, even for a Dwarf and possessing a lither build than is common to his kind, Guntars most notable feature is his long-fingered hands, which are quick and darting. He is fascinated by intricate things and he is not hesitant in putting his long fingers to work inspecting any delicate fancy or glittering jewel that catches his eye.

Like many Dwarves, Guntar dresses for practicality before fashion, favouring heavy, hard-wearing materials; woollens and canvas in grey and other dark tones. That is not to say his clothes and equipment are old or worn. He keeps himself and his attire clean and in good order and he clearly has the money to make a decent job of it. His beard is neatly trimmed and luxuriously oiled and the cut of his cloth is clearly of high quality.

He wears a sword but it looks new, as if bought recently. The battered old crossbow, on the other hand, looks like a well used old friend in his hands and just as lovingly maintained.
