Average build and a bit gaunt about the face, frequently unshaven with light brown hair and a significant chip on his shoulder.  Alex did not have a pleasant upbringing and it lead to a childhood, adolescence and early adulthood in constant conflict with the law and in the company of less than reputable individuals. As the rap sheet and severity of crimes grew, and the global conflict worsened, he found himself in front of a judge and a sentencing board that gave him a choice between hard time behind concrete walls or hard time with a gun and a European vacation. His animal instinct and survival skills, while problematic in polite society, proved to be essential getting things done and staying alive as civilization spasm-ed and died.
