Aeddan ("ee-thin") is tall and rather gangly, with red hair and ears that stick out.  He's the eldest child, by a number of years, of Sir Daeddon of Jagent, Cornwall.

Aeddan was raised principally by his mother, a fervent Christian, and thus knows the religion fairly well and can read Latin.  What he's encountered of the world has left him continually unsure what he believes in, but he keeps that to himself.

Daeddon, Aeddan's father, regaled him often with tales of his "glory days" of knighthood and battle, such that Aeddan could recite such stories -- with names and heraldry -- at a moment's notice.

As a 21-year-old knight, Aeddan's strongest traits are the considerable valor (16) and weapons skills he learned at his father's knee.  Because he's mostly dealt with females only in his family, Aeddan is eager, yet awkward, about the lustful urges he feels toward women.
