There's doubtlessly office buildings filled with people who look exactly like Jesse somewhere. She stands out only because of her ethnicity- dark haired, tawny skinned, she's clearly Chinese- and that means she's closer to median person than most Europeans (as she would doubtlessly point out). She keeps her hair cut short, somewhere between a pixie and a bob. It refuses to retain any sort of style for more than a few minutes. She's shorter than most Canadians, though not so much that anyone would notice that she's particularly short. Jesse could be a member of any office staff photo without anyone noticing.

That changes, some, when she speaks. Most people are prepared for her to have an accent; just not the accent she has. Jesse speaks perfect English, inflected with all the notes of the British upper classes. Everything she says sounds like a Cambridge lecture, or someone about to disparage 'the locals'.

It doesn't help with the impression Jesse radiates that she thinks she's smarter than everyone else in the room. Tiny sighs, rolls of her eyes, Jesse really does little to hide the fact she's constantly surrounded by idiots.
