Maximus is full of bravado, acting like the consummate swordmaster.  As a questor of Astendar he insists up and down that he is "A lover, not a fighter." He dresses in the finest clothing he can afford and goes to exceptional lengths to keep his clothing clean.  He wears an esparaga cloak made from a Death's Sea esparaga, it's brilliant red scales and gleaming silver underside truly accentuating his desire for flamboyancy.  Maximus will hit on anyone he considers beautiful Insisting, "Astendar means for us to love all name givers the same."  He also has a suit of living crystal embedded in his skin that always seems to sparkle "just so."
