Description:

John January, Junior, is known as JJ to all and sundry. He is a remarkably average man, of average height and weight, and is remarkably average looking. So average that most people wouldn't be able to describe him five minutes after seeing him. IF someone were to notice him, they would think he is either not well-educated or perhaps a little "odd", but most likely a menial worker, a misconception that suits JJ very well.
He is of indeterminate age- again, very average- although he admits that he hasn't reached 35 yet. He is the kind of person who just fades into the background, a very useful trait when he wants to observe things. He maintains a neat trim and slight stubble, and prefers dark clothing (it doesn't show dirt so much). His average-ness extends to social interaction- most people tend to forget that he is there, and skip him in conversations. When engaged, though, he has a wide range of knowledge, and can converse on most topics.

Notes:

His last few off-world jobs were with XYZ, a small subsidiary of GTF, working as a "support technician" on a research site. When the site was discovered by a snooping Star Law LEO, it was rapidly closed, and JJ was relocated back home, along with the bulk of the staff. His return to Port Loren put him back in the XYZ home office, awaiting reassignment.

His current main occupation is fixing things or looking busy in the XYZ offices, which is way less interesting than any off-world gig, fixing things for friends at ridiculously low fees in a local tech-store, or watching vids in his company-provided quarters.

Although he was hired as an environmentalist, he learned a fair bit about physics while setting up GTF sites, although he is no "professor". Besides going off-site into the wilds to collect samples and helping analyse them, his skill with driving and maintaining vehicles meant he had a fair bit of access to machinery, and in his spare time he ended up repairing damaged machines and vehicles, which made him pretty popular with management due to the cost-savings. The added access to secure lockers allowed him to develop his lock-picking skills, which allowed him to "procure" additional items for personal gain.
