Backstory: Calvin works as an industrial systems software engineer, adjusting assembly line programs for new product runs and occasionally getting called in for troubleshooting when there are production issues. With the increased usability of industrial software, it's not quite the cushy job it used to be. Fortunately, some solid investments in headier times have left him with a more comfortable living now.

Outside of work, he is a casual VR gamer- or at least, on the casual side of people willing to shell out for a transdermal link. Fantasy RPGs, luxury sims, and a few off-beat games make up most of his library. The guilds he joins are usually more focused on roleplay than raids, but he'll tag along with his friends when they could use an extra.

In general, Calvin is laid back and cheerful with a tendency to try and solve people's problems.
