Jack is tall for a human, over two yards tall but only just (possibly 6'2").  He has long, thin fingers with calluses where he has used scissors, chalk and needles so many times.  His hair is a dark brown, not quite black and his eyes they are ridiculously pale considering they are clearly brown, not blue or grey.

He is muscular but his are not the bulging muscles of a labourer, more the tautness of an acrobat.  He wears studded armour of a very fine quality and wears a backpack and over the armour a decent looking hat and coat, which advertise his skill as a tailor.  There is a dagger in a sheath on his belt and a crossbow in easy reach.  He also carries a lantern.
