Star Wars: Jedi Dark

This game is using the Force and Destiny rulebook along with Rise of the Separatists and Collapse of the Republic and maybe a few other supplements as well.

The setting is 19BBY, just prior to Order 66 resulting in the annihilation of the Jedi Order.
Jedi Dark

Two Jedi Apprentices along with their masters are attached to Razor Squadron and part of a Republic Navy convoy that works with the Hutts, now that the Republic was allowed to use their space lanes, to keep their territory clear of Separatist forces. Jedi Master, Ke-shy Garzi, a Cerean female was responsible for the Jedi and is the ranking General in charge of the convoy. Jedi Knight, Tomor Vacil, a human male from Corellia, was assigned to the convoy as part of a punitive action that saw him demoted from Jedi Master to Knight, rather than being expelled from the order, because they couldn't spare able-bodied Jedi or risk one going over to the Separtists as Count Dooku had done! Only Ke-shy and Tomor know the reason for his demotion and neither are talking about it. Their apprentices are the only others in the convoy that know about Tomor's demotion and they can only guess about the 'why' of it as their masters are not sharing about that information.

Clone Commander Trigger is the Republic leader of the convoy while Clone Captain Thunder (nicknamed for his enjoyment of making sonic booms while flying top speed in atmospheric flight) is the leader of Razor Squadron. Thunder and Knight Tomor became fast friends almost immediately and this resulted in a closeness between the Knight and apprentices and the clones that Jedi Master Ke-shy isn't very comfortable with. Tomor is a prodigy, with a genuine talent for flying and skilled in using the Force to make himself an even better pilot and often competes with Thunder for kills or pulling off this maneuver or that and under whatever conditions they can come up with! Thunder often holds back, confined by rules and reporting directly to Trigger who frowns on behavior outside regulation. Many of the clones wonder if Tomor could outfly Thunder if Thunder wasn't held back by his fear of Trigger's strict rules. Despite his strictness, Trigger is fair though and the men look up to him and respect him. His strictness and reliance on rules allows him to get along well with the cold, logical attitude of Master Ke-shy, with many of the clones, even Thunder, thinking that the two were made for each other, despite neither displaying any hint of attraction or interest in the other beyond being professional. One of the apprentices even joked that if there wasn't a war, the two would probably marry and honeymoon on the frozen ice planet of Ilum!

Cahn Fortuna, a 'cousin' of Jabba's Twi-lek majordomo, Bib Fortuna, works for Grakkus the Hutt, the ruler of Nar-Shaddaa and is the Hutt attache and liaison that generally works with Tomor and Thunder but is otherwise found near Commander Trigger more often than not, relaying directives and information from the Hutts to the Republic forces. Cahn is friendly, at times boisterous, a good drinking buddy, but there is something about him that keeps most everyone from trusting him completely. None of the clones view him as dangerous, but Tomor has no doubts that Cahn is sharing what he knows with the Hutts and does his best to minimize that when he can. Despite Tomor's feelings about Cahn, the Twi-lek actually gets along well with many of the clones, acting as a guide for them at times when they are given leave on Nar-Shaddaa for a weekend or after a long mission, showing places of interest, and warning them about shadier places that would get the clones and pilots in trouble. He even once introduced the jedi apprentices to Nar-Shadaa's nightlife yet remained respectful of the jedi's traditions and their forbidding the development of attachments and kept that from the jedi's masters and the other clones that didn't go with them on that particular outing. His ability to procure illicit and black market goods and even weapons, gear or equipment at a discount that cannot be gained through jedi or Republic official channels has proven helpful on more than one occasion too!

Rumors abound of the war coming to an end, but those rumors are dismissed when a transmission to the flagship, Shockwave, reports that General Grievous has kidnapped Chancellor Palpatine from his offices on Coruscant. Weekend leave for the remaining half of the crew, given after a month long deployment to Tattooine, has just been cancelled and those relaxing and enjoying themselves on the surface of Nar-Shaddaa are finding themselves being called back to duty early, expecting for the convoy to be called back to Coruscant to rescue the Chancellor.
