Zudaan is a human with swarthy skin and a black beard. Almost, but not quite what one would call handsome, with piercing eyes set a little too wide, he dresses in finely made  belted silk robes of a muted orange, with a scarf held down by cap on his head. A locally made wool cape suits in his shoulders,  a testament to the extremes of weather in the lands away from the southern deserts. On his left hand is often perched one of a pair of hawks, Samir and Yara, that he owns.

Hanging from his belt are a coin pouch, a utility pouch, a book case and an ornate curved dagger.

He rides a jet black stallion who's tack is in the southern style,  with decorative tassels and brocade saddle and blanket,  and he keeps a pack mule as well, which his servant, a plainly dressed tousle-headed boy a year or two shy of adulthood who he calls Naimir, often rides upon.

Zudaan is from the south, south of the badlands, a land of deserts and sometimes hostile nomads between high walled coastal cities. Zudaan is from one of those cities, Adiz. His family were noble merchants, but he studied under the sorcerer Hayyan until the King was overthrown by his brother who ordered a purge of arcane magicians from the city. For his safety he left for the north on a trade caravan.
