Well dressed and clearly equipped for war Grenda wears a fitted leather jacket over a subtle but still quite effective breastplate.  Just like any other dwarf she tends to be a bit on the short side, but she is also a lot less bulky than the typical dwarven build, clearly she isn't a front line warrior.
