Bugrem Stonesinger

Standing a bare inch above four foot, Burgrem is lean and lithe - though still seemingly stocky compared to the menfolk he works with. It is a common trait in the cavern rangers, like his cautious gaze and narrowed eyes. Beneath coarse bushy black eyebrows, his own are dark brown pools, fierce and haunted depending on his mood, and his skin pale with a burnish common from the forge. His beard is full and coarse, like his hair, the former plaited only at the extents and ringed with blackened steel bearing the mason's hammer and chisel of the Stonesingers - and the later swept up and back in a peak. Upon his chest and back and arms, he bears many tattoos, in red and black ink, with the runes of his folk entwined with many tiny dragons - a remembrance for lost Songspire Hold.

On the trail, Bugrem wears a suit of damascene scale armour, the plates blackened and dulled as much as they can be. Upon his back, his shield bears the symbol of Songspire, the rim marked with both his clan's sigil and that of the Stoneaxe he is sworn to. Beneath it, a crossed pair of shortswords hung for easy drawing. At his waist, a similar brace of light crossbows with a quiver of bolts and pair of darts by each. Finally, on his hand, the thick signet ring his father wore.

He is rarely found on the trail alone, however. Accompanying the last of the Stonesingers is: his faithful steed - the black mastiff, Brok, known for the deep-throated growls and grumbles; dour Jothoun, his father's guard over him and estwhile squire; and his two hapless halfling servants, Drogo and Vigo, constantly muttering between themselves and bickering over who is the servant and who is Brok's groom.
