There is a definite military bearing to Jacen Reed, from the way he stands to the way he walks to the clipped way he speaks. His final tour of duty was aboard the Arleigh Burk, a destroyer. He left the dock as the executive officer and was the Captain of a bruised and battered ship and crew when they returned 3 months after the scheduled time. What happened on that cruise is classified. 6 Months later, he was given a Confederation Medal of Honor, was promoted to Captain and left the service.
