Personality

The first thing you notice about the doctor is his precise way of speaking, this is because his in early years he was brought up by a cyberbot who spoke that way.  This affects his general personality he likes order and tidiness. He is a smart dresser both in an out of work.
This ordered manner could show a cold hearted man but in fact that is far from the truth.  He is a good listener and will try to solve any problems his patients have not just medical ones. A sort of social worker.  He does not like parties but does like socialising in a small group where intelligent conversation can be had.

History
Brian’s parents had died when he was 2 years old, in a mining accident on asteroid gamma 40.  The Miners Conglomerate took care of him and his education mainly with cyberbots.  After taking the Career Aptitude Test the conglomerate entered him for medical training, and for once the aptitude test got it right. Brian had a good mind for learning details and by 20 he had become fully qualified.  He could not get any worthwhile jobs as all his education had been in schools and he had no practical experience.

He had applied for several jobs on colonies but was rejected as before due to lack of experience.  By chance when web skipping ha saw an advertisement from The Redwood Shipline for apprentice crew but listed amongst their openings was a doctor on their new liner “S.S.E.A.L. Vanessa “  As the duties should be fairly light they might be willing to take him on he thought.  So it proved, and although the pay was not great he would get some real world experience so here he is with his own medical centre on the luxury liner.
