Personality: Derrick is distant and quiet. He prefers the company of his machines and AI systems instead of real people. Machines work as he wants them to and how they are designed, people do not. Machines can be fixed when broken, parts replaced and mended unlike people. He trusts Machines and knows exactly what he is getting into with them. People are a gamble and can change who they are at the drop of a hat.

He can be friendly when he has to deal with people but if he doesn't have to deal with them or can send someone else to do it he will.

While Derrick is on a level of his own as far as intelligence and knowledge in his field he tends to be lazy and jaded towards everything else. Machines are life everything else is just a distraction.

What are your relationships with your family? For the most part Derrick is distant from his family except for his sister who idolized him.

Where Did You Grow Up? Derrick's family was wealthy and lived in a world of luxury and refinement. His entire family are engineers and well known in the community. Even his aunt, uncle and two cousins.
