Personality: Mari is a free-spirited person who knows exactly what she likes, and doesn't really worry if it conforms within "acceptable" by society's standards. She has an almost biting wit that she freely shares and is very confident in exactly who she is in the world.  She laughs easily, likes to have fun, and realizes there is a distinction between right, wrong, good, bad, and when seriousness needs to rule the moment. Otherwise, she seems to be the type of person who is just happy to exist.

She is often thought of as an extroverted girl who enjoys the day to day interactions she finds herself involved within by being part of something. She is friendly in that she is apt to start up a conversation with anybody, be they friend or stranger. She is always willing to share a smile and has an almost palpable "carpe diem" approach to life. She is a generous, kind, and compassionate woman who is willing to give advice where wanted, or lend an ear when her silence would be more appreciated. Overall, old soul type personality.

Appearance: Mari is a Caucasian woman with natural red hair and hazel eyes. She keeps her hair cut short and usually does nothing to stylize it beyond possibly raking it with her fingers a few times after a shower. She wears only a little makeup to highlight some features, but otherwise has a natural off-beauty about her. She is an average height and maybe a little skinnier than is healthy. She has an athletic physique from all of the lugging equipment that she does.

It probably is no surprise that Mari has an eclectic sense of style and never really chooses any one thing as her "fashion". She wears whatever is comfortable for her, and generally mashes up articles that shouldn't go together but ultimately seem to "fit her" once people get to know the body in the clothes.
