Where Angels Fear to Tread

This is a world of fallen empires, ruined aspirations, and shattered dreams. There are ruins where you might find old elven artifacts, items enchanted by ancient archmages, or perhaps even the pieces of fallen Heaven. But you will also find monsters, because this is a hostile world, one where all manner of monstrous creatures live. From giant insects and magic-infused beasts in the wilds to ghouls in the graveyard to ghosts in the cellar and vampires in the brothel, this is a world where danger is never hard to find for the seeker or the unwary. It's a place where every closet has a skeleton or two, and anyone you meet might just have a dark secret they'll kill to protect. Racial tensions run high, magic is distrusted and outcast, and what gods there are have long fallen silent.

You were a nobody in this world. Just a normal person, no particularly great deeds to your name. But then the sphere of your world intersected for just a moment with a shard of fallen Heaven, as it passed by, and a tiny bit of the power of Creation Itself infused into you. It falls to you, now, to decide what you'll do with it, and what sacrifices you will make, in the name of your ideals.

This game is set in the standard Godbound setting, but a different realm, with very different problems and history. Drawing strong inspiration from the Witcher series, as well as such works as the Black Company novels, Dragon Age games, and related media, it aims to take a look at the human cost of great works, and the difficulty of choosing the lesser evil in a world where there really isn't a good choice a lot of the time.
