Weaknesses: Armond doesn’t have many weaknesses but he has a few. Even though he is an older vampire and has built up a resistance over time to vervain, a large enough dose will incapacitate him. He has no weakness to silver or religious symbols, in fact will often wear a silver chain and a ring with a cross on the gem. Like all vampires, he can not consume the blood of the dead, removing his head or heart will kill him. And it has been learned through the ages that a certain kind of stake will kill his bloodline. A normal wooden stake will simply incapacitate him, but not kill him. Once the stake is removed, he will awaken once more.

Background: Armond was born a vampire. His mother died during his birth and his father forever blamed him for her death. Being a pure blood vampire didn’t mean that one was protected from the harm a grieving father could inflict onto the child they blamed. As Armond grew this abuse caused him to grow a very dark and untrusting soul. He tends to be a quiet fellow, but he is always watching. He watches for the opportunities to destroy those who cause him harm.

One night, while his father slumbered, Armond took that opportunity and killed his father. He first staked him with a wooden dagger encased in silver, as his father was highly allergic to silver. There were bits of wood sticking out of the silver to ensure that they made contact with the man’s heart. This put his father into a torpor, but didn’t not kill him.

Armond then took his father’s torpored body out into the wilderness where he proceeded to remove the limbs one by one. Once he had done that he took them a great distance to the four points of a compass and set them on fire. Then he returned to his father’s torso and head and removed the dagger that was keeping him torpored. His father awoke with a loud, painful, gut wrenching scream. Armond looked down at his father, gave him a smile, then using the same large ax he had used to remove the man’s limbs, removed his head. This he tossed up into the nearby tree. Then set the torso on fire. It is said that the head still remains in the tree in a distant land, but no one has ever been able to find it to confirm this rumor.

Armond then took to traveling and wandered for many years. He didn’t stay in one place long. Took up a female companion here and there, but after having his fill of them, left them behind with notes of thanks for the good time. In the early 1800's his travels took him to Western Europe where he wound up caught up in the battles of the times. He was a crew member on one of the Ottoman ships when new slave girls were brought aboard. Normally, Armond paid them no mind, for he often was able to enjoy the spoils of the battles as well. But one maiden in particular caught his eye, Elena. She had fight and spirit that she wasn't going to have broken.

When she was taken into the Captain's cabin to be claimed, Armond reacted with anger. He burst into the cabin and quickly removed the man's heart from his body, through his back. Then as Armond fled with Elena, he fought off and killed many of the crew. Elena has never left his side. She is his and him, hers. They had learned, quite by accident, that her life could be extended by drinking small amounts of his blood. They blood share on a frequent basis and he has claimed her as his Queen. No other may touch her.

Eventually, Armond's travels brought him and Elena to the new world. As they discovered new places, Armond came across a place that held hand to hand combat for prize money. A spirited young man, Hunter, caught his attention. Armond and Elena remained in this place for quite some time, as Armond wanted to watch this man and see what he was all about. He was strong, quick, and lost very few fights. Armond took to getting to know Hunter and would meet with him between fight nights. The two grew close and Armond agreed to take Hunter with him when he decided to move on to other places. Then one night a fight went sideways and man that Hunter beat, tried to seek revenge afterward. Hunter was mortally wounded. Since Armond didn't want to lose this potential, he told Hunter what he was and that he could save him, but at a price. Hunter agreed and Armond turned him. His first childer. The three of them continued their travels until recently.

Recently he had learned about a new town that had sprang up. A town called Fang Town. He thought a place named after fangs must have some interests. He has traveled to this place and has been there long enough to set up a nightclub, The Sabbat. The club itself is actually a cover for what one will find down the hall then down the stairs. The Blood Den. A place where vampires can come and indulge in the tastes of their desires. Willing humans who long to feel the bite of the vampire to provide them with the necessary blood to survive.

Armond has three rules for his den. 1. Don’t kill your food. 2. Don’t harm your food. 3. Enjoy your food.
