Benjamin was born and raised in an upper-middle-class family, to very devout Christian parents. Their father worked in the oil fields of Texas while their mother homeschooled them up to high school
Benjamin is a computer science major at a university, uninterested in the work their father did. As they progressed through HS and college, their faith in Christianity dwindled to almost nothing.
Benjamin is the treasurer of the fencing club at his university; it's most of his social interaction outside of classwork
