Eruvel Cathfaine is the leader of the elves, the high priest of Asten in the city of Copenhagen, and a former captain in the Army of Light. In keeping with the role of high priest, Eruvel deliberately maintains an androgynous appearance. Some refer to Lord Eruvel, while others use the title Lady Cathfaine. It is said that the gift of Asten is that each person sees what they want to see in Eruvel.
