Welcome to Hunter's Moon. Welcome to Preternatural Oregon. Welcome to a world where Vampire, Shifters, Fae, Witches, Spirits and Demons occupy the same cities, streets and houses that we do. Welcome to a world where the veil has been pulled aside, and the world beneath thrust into full view.The dawning of the 21st Century saw a reawakening of the public's perception of the supernatural as well as a resurgence of religion and faith in God. Science, the largest 'religion' of the late nineties, had promised an end to world hunger and disease, but had failed to deliver. The Y2K scare, the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Ebola, and exploding space shuttles had all but tarnished people's perception of it. And whether it was out of a desire to find something to believe in, or acceptance of the idea that science didn't have all the answers, people began to question again. And some of the answers we found weren't the ones we wanted to find.
Vampires, Lycanthropes, the Fae. Some of the old stories proved to be shockingly true. Creatures that once only existed in myths and legends, and the darkest recesses of our primate brains, were now real. It forced people to open their minds to a greater world beyond.
Hunter's Moon draws from these myths, and from the many different Urban Fantasy authors that have chosen to write stories about these preternatural creatures living among us.
