Ynes is a tall warrior whose dark hair and tanned skin speak of her birthplace in the southern steppes. Having been schooled in the arts of fighting from an early age, the young woman eventually made her way north in search of a place where she could utilize her talents to earn a comfortable existence. Eventually, Ynes traveled to Ironguard Motte, serving for a time with Lord Viscount Kell Ironguard’s men-at-arms. Finding life in the military organization too stifling, she ultimately left, hoping to find fortune elsewhere in the Duchy as an adventurer.

Ynes is free spirited and possessed of an easy, if dry, sense of humor. She enjoys strong drink and song and is curious to hear the tales of those who have visited far corners of the world. She is intensely loyal to those she regards as friends and when faced with danger, her normally cheerful demeanor yields to a deadly focus on combat. Ynes favors the battle axe, the first weapon she learned to wield, and the one she has achieved the greatest mastery with.
