Akodo Takashi is tall for a Rokugani at 5'9, with a wiry sort of strength that isn’t always obvious under the simple red-brown gi and tan hakama he tends to wear. The mon of the Akodo family sits on his obi next to his  old, well-crafted daisho, and the mon of the Lion clan rests on his shoulder. His dark red-brown hair is long, generally worn in a suitably conservative knot at the back of his head, or sometimes up in a simple ponytail if he is not being conscientious. His face is slender, with sharp features that make his age a little difficult to determine, though somewhere between nineteen and twenty-one is probably a safe bet. Beyond this, the most striking thing about Takashi are his unusually dark eyes: a brown that edges on black. He also smiles more than most Lion, which can be oddly disarming.
