Hida Kenji is a veteran of many years on the Kaiu wall, and now at 60 years old he has been given the honor of being a senior crab delegate to Kyuden Otomo's winter court.

And there's nothing he would rather be doing less.

The older Crab is a large man at 6'2, with callused hands and steel gray hair which matches his iron eyes. Though he wears his daisho competently and well, he's clearly more accustomed to heavier weapons. He's known for his ability to put away an alarming amount of liquor, and the unsubtle grunts with which he expresses disapproval.
