A promising biology expert that was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Her college research lead her to a startup experimenting with some new bioware grafting techniques to help reduce the dependency of pharmaceuticals to avoid implant rejection. The papers she published talked about using the subjects DNA in a retrovirus to make it seem like the implant is already part of the host.

Of course pharmaceutical companies did not like the idea of reducing the dependency on their expensive products so they bought out her company through a series of strawman purchases and then killed her research. She was, of course, approached by corporate recruiters to join them but she spat in their faces. They then tried to recruit her aggressively so she went to the shadows.

Now she works as a street doc right under the nose of a AAA. She is continuing her research and instead of credits she will sometimes ask to be repaid in exotic biologicals or chemicals to further her research.
