Everyone in NoHam will recognize Ms. Herrera's voice as she comes bearing down on anyone not acting 100% socially acceptable in her neck of the woods. Everything from littering to just too many youths lingering at a corner will prompt Ms. Herrera rushing out and demanding to know what is going on. She has declared herself a one-woman neighborhood watch and thinks of it as her duty to single-handedly keep the encroaching Auburn Blight from swallowing up NoHam.
