Alexei was the owner of the Pawn shop entitled 'Pawn Ur Stuff'. He hadn't come up with that name or even the shop but had bought it off the previous owner shortly before that guy disappeared. Putting up a new sign costs nuyen that he refuses to spend so Pawn UR Stuff remained. Then the UR was hit by a malfunctioning drone and the neon partially broke and now the shop is called the Pawn N Stuff.

Alexei is a gruff owner who is quick to pull a concealed gun at the slightest whiff of trouble. Thick reinforced glass separates him from his customers but beneath that tough exterior he is a bit of a softy. He has been known to overpay on junk for a needy family and he typically keeps real sentimental stuff like wedding rings and family heirlooms in a back room, holding them until one day the family can come by looking for them.
