Inathyra was born in the year DR 520. Her birth was special among elves as it was a twin birth. Along with her twin brother, Farion, Inathyra was born under the full moon and both were anointed with the rites of Sehanine Moonbow on their first night.

Their family lived in the Cormanthor Forests of what was to one day become the Dalelands. She became very close to her brother, and they did almost everything together. And while Inathyra became a priestess of Sehanine Moonbow, Farion became a holy warrior of the moon goddess.

As the siblings reached adulthood, they left their home as wanderlust beckoned them forward. They became competent adventurers and earned honor and respect in the name of their goddess, and they gathered a small band around themselves. But all that came to an abrupt ending with an ambush by drow. The drow killed or maimed most of the party, only taking the two elf twins as prisoners.

Inathyra never learned of what happened to her brother in the long year they were held captive underground. But with the terrors she experienced herself, she could only guess as to what happened to him. She was tortured and dark rites were performed on her. It awakened something deep, dark and evil inside her. Something that scared her more than death. She would have been consumed by the evil and darkness if help had not arrived unexpected. Ina along with her brother were rescued by Tianli. He came at a point where Inathyra wasn't sure if she was in a fever dream, haunted by demons, or if she was in the real world. She was on the brink of death when they finally found her.

But Tianli got Ina away from the drow, and he nursed her back to life. When she finally recovered, she had to admit that she had been changed. The evil, dark presence inside her had been awakened, and it was only through her connection to her goddess that she was able to control it.

Inathyra and Tianli spend a few years together as companions and then as lovers, while she learned to accept what she had become. But at a time came when their ways had to part. Tianli had personal matters to attend to and Ina joined up with her brother and travelled to Myth Drannor where their abilities and skills were welcome.

During the tumultuous years of the mid 600's, Inathyra's and Farion's parents were killed in an attack by ogres in the north. Wanting to make a difference in protecting the lands, the siblings joined up with the Company of Light. There they met their old friend Tianli and the love between Inathyra and Tianli blossomed yet again, more intense and passionate than before. Soon they became the proud parents of a little girl, around the same time that Inathyra joined the Company of Light.

Just before the battle with the walking man, Inathyra had given birth to Eclan, a beautiful half-dragon boy, but it left Inathyra at less than full capacity. The battle saw Fanion killed along with his wife, Desriel. Losing her twin brother was like having a bit of her soul torn out and the fact that she had been too weak to help him, led her to blaming herself for his and his wife's deaths. Worse still was that her brother's only child was left an orphan. Inathyra had no way of taking care of the child herself, with her mind and body weakened by the events. Luckily, Andrax and Ikanthia, two of Inathyra's colleagues in the company of light, stepped forward. They cared for the orphan and eventually adopted the child. Inathyra was not fully happy with the arrangement at first. She felt that she was failing her own blood, and leaving the child to others was almost negligence. But as time went on, she had to admit that the two were the best and most loving and caring parents the orphan could have wanted. And they proved it even more when they had a child themselves and never cared less for their adopted child. Inathyra has since the battle ten years ago been a frequent at their home, just as they have been at her family's home.

Since the battle, Inathyra has taken up the mantle of Moon Priestess of the town. She tends the "temple" of Sehanine Moonbow every day of the month. Most of her time is spent helping her fellow town folks, attending to wounds, priestly duties and such. She never charges anyone from the town for healing, unless costly material components are needed. However, she is very reluctant to raise the dead. Not just because of the monetary burden, but some suspect it has to do with more personal issues.

She lives with her husband and children in a modest house that is surrounded by mysteries. It is after all the home of a dragon, an elven priestess and their children. The house has several enchantments everywhere, making it a safe and welcoming place to those that should be there.
